Provider name: The Martial Way

ACTIVE KIDS

What is it?

The NSW Government is helping kids get active with the new Active Kids program.

From 1 July 2023 there will be new $50 vouchers available for parents, guardians and carers of school-enrolled children to use towards sport and active recreation costs each year with The Martial Way. These vouchers will expire 31 January 2024. A new Active and Creative Kids voucher program will start early 2024.

You can use the voucher for registration, participation or membership costs with an approved Active Kids provider.

The voucher can be used at any time during the calendar year it was issued.

The program runs year-round, so kids can get active at any time with The Martial Way!

If you’re a parent, carer or guardian, the student will be eligible if they are:

  • a NSW resident.
  • aged between 4.5 and 18 years.
  • enrolled in school (from Kindergarten to Year 12, including those who are home-schooled or enrolled in secondary school education at TAFE NSW).
  • a current Medicare card holder.

You can apply for an Active Kid voucher for each eligible student.

  • a MyServiceNSW account.
  • one proof of identity document for the parent, carer or guardian.
  • your child's Medicare card details.
  • your child's height and weight (optional).

Vouchers can only be used:

  • one time (if the chosen activity fees are less than $50, then the remaining balance cannot be used).
  • during the calendar year they’re issued.
  • for the person named on the voucher.
  • for registration or membership fees with approved Active Kids providers.

Vouchers cannot be:

  • split between more than one provider or registration.
  • used for individual items (karate uniform, belts, protective gear and etc.).
  • redeemed for cash.

To use the voucher, give The Martial Way details provided by our friendly admin staff.
