Each student must have a plain Karate Gi, a hard-copy of the Student Handbook and a JKA ID Booklet.

Karate Uniform

The plain White 8.5 oz karate gi is made from 35% cotton and 65% polyester. The jacket has reinforced stitching in pressure points to make it more durable. Pants come with elastics waist and drawstring to secure the pants perfectly. Students are always required to wear recommended uniform during training.

The Martial Way standard uniform consists of the following items:

Karate Gi Maintenance

Hand stictched without fault, the belt is made from 65% polyester and 35 % cotton and is 100% colour fast. This ensures no bleeding of colours or staining of your uniform.

Note: Black Belts are custom made and ordered from Japan. One end of the belt will contain the Budo embroidery in Kaji ( 武道 ) and the other end will contain your name in Japanese (Katakana). These embroideries are on one side of the belt. The embroidery letters will be Gold in colour. Belt width is 4.5cm. $TBA

Note: The labels on the belt corresponds to the recommended height of the user. If you open up the belt to its full length, you will find that it is the correct length. For example, the Size 0 belt will have 140cm on the label, but will actually be 180cm in length.
